PULP DISCO & THE OUTCASTS
Doped out, acid tinged, bass heavy, pop light, psychedelic euro-funk!
From the weekly Disco Outcast parties at the seedy Purple Pussy Cat in Manchester, to the litter infested streets of Whitechapple and Shoreditch, and on to the sun kissed waters of the Mediterranean, these tentacles are spread far and wide. From deep dub acid to European pop, from spaced out funk to hoe-down disco, Pulp Disco & the Outcasts have it sorted all lovely like...
The album is already in the can and the début single release, Overnight to Düsseldorf, is due to drop on Out Hear Audio in early November 2011, with a breathtaking re-work by Ashley Beedle.

Cinespace > Keep Schtum and Disco Outcasts: Saturday 1st October at Cinna Bar
After an amazing first party with Rayko we welcome Keep Schtum to Manchester direct from Dublin, another big favorite with the Outcasts!
Michael McKenna (Keep Schtum)
Michael started DJing in the early 90's and shortly after became a sound engineer. While recording artists and bands from all genres, he also DJ'ed in many of the bars and clubs around Dublin. After a hiatus from DJing, when he lectured in Sound Engineering and Music Production, he returned to DJing, Production and Promoting about 6 years ago.
Since then Michael has been playing all over Dublin and Ireland, with the occasional jaunt across the water, and has recently shared the bill with likes of Moodymann and Charles Webster. He currently has weekly residencies at 'Beatdown Disco' in The South William, 'Inside Out' in The Exchequer, both in Dublin.
However, Michael is probably best known as being half of production team ‘Keep Schtum’, who's disco re-edits have been getting attention from DJ's worldwide, including Greg Wilson and DJ Harvey. He also hosts Keep Schtum Radio every Monday evening on Power FM (5pm - 7pm GMT).

Yann has been turning people on to killer groove's freely in France and abroad since 1996. He is the co-founder of the bad boy duo Non è possibile with Phred Noir and La Dame Noir Dancing. Yann is also the Resident DJ on 'Selections Naturelle' for Radio Grenouille, 88.8FM Marseille.

OUTCAST LOVE: RAYKO [RARE WIRI, MADRID] SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD
OUTCAST LOVE 001: RAYKO (Madrid – Rare Wiri / Eskimo Records)
For the first of the series of our new parties at our Cinespace events in Manchester we welcome you the red hot RAYKO direct from Madrid. Currently topping Juno Charts, as well as guest mixing on Ministry Of Sound and Adidas Originals this guy truly defines what our ‘Outcast Love’ concept is all about.
Born in the Canary Islands, Rayko is a producer and DJ deeply influenced by the artists and sounds of the 70′s and 80′s (mainly Disco, Electrofunk and Rock.) These influences led him to launch the label Rare Wiri in the summer of 2008, gaining immediate critical acclaim with its first release making Record of the Week at Manchester’s highly regarded Piccadilly Records.
Since its launch Rare Wiri has had releases from a stable of talented producers, these include Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Phoreski, Marbeya Sound, Beat Fanatic, Ilya Santana not to mention Rayko himself.
Rayko has an impressive portfolio of releases under his belt and has an almost insatiable thirst for editing both classics and lost gems in his distinctive and infectious style.
As a DJ, Rayko continues to wow audiences around the globe with his trademark sound. Things look set to get even crazier with a string of 12” and digital releases, remixes and international DJ bookings scheduled for the coming months.

ANDY BLAKES WORLD UNKNOWN
The monthly World Unknown parties, held in a railway arch in Brixton, have acquired a cult status in recent times. The music policy – unsurprisingly for a night curated by messrs Hart and Blake – is spot on, taking in everything from throbbing EBM and industrial to obscure Italo and sweaty acid house. In recent times Blake has been serving up World Unknown remixes – most notably a sprawling take on The Detachments “Holiday Romance”.
The first two releases are due out on the same day in July. The inaugural twelve is a split release with “Whop!” from Glaswegian production team Naum Gabo (aka Optimo’s JG Wilkes and long term production partner James Savage) appearing alongside “Grauzone” from the marvelously named Franz Underwear.
The second World Unknown 12″ follows soon after, with Neville Watson’s “One Four Green” and Apiento’s “The Orange Place” sharing the spoils. As a bit of a treat you can now stream previews of the Franz Underwear and Apiento tracks via the Soundcloud players below.
This all comes as fantastic news to those still mourning the loss of Blake’s former label Dissident, which folded in late 2009. The first two 12″s are due out in July.

DISCO OUTCASTS HAVE LEFT THE PURPLE PUSSYCAT
Well after playing at The PPC every Saturday for nearly 3.5 years we have to come to the end of our residency! Both Leo & myself feel we need to move on to pastures new so we can progress with our future plans.
We've had some amazing parties at The PPC with some amazing guests. Memorable nights include The Revenge, Chris Duckenfield, Ray Mang, Mainstem, Andrew Allsgood, Non e Possibile and more...
We would like say a massive thank you to everyone at The PPC especially Ross, Arthur, Rachel & Lisa for all their support during this time and for having faith in us and the parties that we was promoting.
We are off on our travels over the next two months to Croatia, Spain, Greece and France and will be of course continuing with our weekly / monthly residencies at Vermillion's Cinna Bar and Cord Bar.
We will be back in September with a new monthly Disco Outcasts party with incredible guest DJS at ace venues in and around Manchester and the occasional invite only party.
LOve IN
Stef & Leo
