Next up in 'Outcast Love' series is the fabulous Revenge who is responsible for many of our detonations in the disco dive. The Revenge edits have been getting heavy rotation from many a dj in the world of nu disco.
The Revenge is our special guest this Saturday (28th) at The Purple Pussy Cat, the response to this party has been huge, so if you plan on coming please arrive early.
The Revenge is the alias of Graeme Clark.
Graeme began producing in his early teenage years, making a skewed blend of electronic music using a couple of his dad’s old drum machines and a sampler. Influenced by his parents collection of rock, soul and funk aswell as eighties daytime radio and the burgeoning rave scene, he began the process of dissecting and re-imagining the music. As a means to get some of these productions out, Graeme set up label Five20East in 1999 with brothers Scott & Ross Langley as an outlet for their own productions.
His own productions for Five20East and his DJ-only edits for L.E.S.S. Productions have had across-the-board support from scene heavyweights including Danny Krivit, Jimpster, Radio Slave, Prins Thomas, Fabrice Lig, Todd Terje, The Unabombers, Karizma, SWAG, Dan Ghenacia, Gilles Peterson, Ashley Beedle, Domu, Kissy Sellout, Joe Claussell, Stuart Patterson, Atjazz, Bill Brewster, Phil Asher, Tim Sweeney and more.
DJ work over the years has included spots with Jimpster, Joe Claussell, Domu, Mark E, Mad Mats, Seiji, Yousef, Jeff Mills, Jazzy Jeff, MAW, Sinden, James Lavelle and more.
Graeme has also provided his engineering experience to several projects over the past few years and has recently mastered Harri & Domenic’s 20 Years Underground / Sub Club mix for Soma aswell as new material for Mark E, Jisco and Fine Art Recordings. His other collaborative projects currently include Deportivo Street Team, OOFT!, Cronk Family Enterprises, 6th Borough Project and The Hong Kong Micros.
New projects for 2009 include releases on his new vinyl-only label Instruments Of Rapture, a release with Craig Smith on Jimpster’s new label and on Soul Heaven, a remix for Phonica's new imprint, the debut single with Harri on Raoul Galloway's (Faith Fanzine) label alongside new material on Five20East.

The Project Club is Steve Lee & Andy "Slim" Black hailing from London town. They will be visitng the Disco Outcasts basement in the not to distant future for an extra special date, more details soon....
In the meantime enjoy this mix for it is an absolute masterpiece & head over to there my space to hear no evil x
Steve lee started his music career DJing and then moved into the field of Digital Mastering, Re-Mastering coupled with classical editing. It was here he cut his teeth with both analogue and digital formats using an early pro-tools system, a DAT player, studer quarter inch reel to reel and a mac.
In 2001, he moved from the studio into film production working for Universal Studios, Dreamworks, BBC and later as Senior Producer at an indie post house. Steve turned his back on the film industry in 2007 and has absolutely no regrets. He's back where he belongs...
Steve has always continued to DJ in London, Europe and also guest spots such as the trendy LA Sky Bar - Dropping his sound of deep house, balearic beat, electronica and cosmic disco.
He still plays every Saturday up and down the country - but you can always find him at his residency (DISCO NOT DISCO) in Kings Cross on a Friday night - home to steve's vintage bottle of bourbon and his dusty old record box. It's here he entertains his hometown crowd with an ever-changing playlist and DJ guest line-up.
In addition, Steve also runs Mondo in Shoreditch alongside Twisted Tongue's (Acid Jazz) Dave jay and going forward has a new Sunday balearic club in London coming very soon.
You can also check Steve out on his radio show for Global Dance where he air's the best in balearic and chilled vibes. All in all - he's doing everything right now and loving life back in music - which is where he really belongs.
ANDY "SLIM" BLACK:
Andy met Steve and they wrote a record. A rather nice record. Andy decided he wanted to make some more nice records.

MONDO LOVE WITH DISCO NOT DISCO & THE DISCO OUTCASTS
@ The Horse & Groom, Curtain Road, London
8pm till 4am /// Free entry
DJS: DAVE JAY, STEVE LEE, STEFANO & LEO (DISCO OUTCASTS)
playing, italo, punk funk, electro, deep house.
Once again, DISCO NOT DISCO returns to bring to you the true, uncut DND experience on 21st February at the Horse & Groom, Shoreditch...
MONDO DISCO: featuring DAVE JAY playing his usual warm-up mix of the cream of DND, from angular punk funk and italo obscurities on to electro, deep house and beyond, followed by fellow resident STEVE LEE showcasing a set of truly eclectic electronica, balearic and deep house. And February also marks the first MONDO appearance of Manchester's DISCO OUTCASTS!
DISCO OUTCAST STEFANO is a real legend in the Manchester music scene, having released records that sold in excess of 70,000 units and playing everywhere from the Hacienda to Glastonbury, from Ibiza to Reykjavík… Stefano has toured with acts such as Oasis and Run DMC, demonstrating he’s one of the most versatile DJ’s around. LEO has quickly become one of the city's most exciting talents, with a record collection resembling those who are twice his age. He is the brains behind Manchester’s legendary Phuture parties, as well as holding residency for Ibiza’s notorious Zoo Project crew.
In a short space of time the DISCO OUTCASTS have together helped create a nu-disco scene over at the newly refurbished Cellar in Blackburn. The nights included guest slots from their heroes including a reel-to-reel session from the master of electro funk Greg Wilson. Outside of their DISCO OUTCASTS parties they are busy with residencies in cities around the country including Manchester, London, Liverpool and Blackburn, as well as regular bookings to guest at some of the most weird and wonderful parties!
With 2009 it’s looking like another eventful year is upon us, with the parties at the Purple Pussy Cat (the Outcasts’ regular Manchester venue) packed to breaking point on a weekly basis. Outside the clubs, the Outcasts are working on some studio material in collaboration with Pulp Disco, with the debut ‘Witches’ being play listed by the likes of Rune Lindbæk, Unabombers, Dub The Disco, James Holroyd and David Dunne. If you love italo, cosmic weirdness, afro and boogie then look no further than Stefano and Leo… The Disco Outcasts!
MONDO DISCO is a monthly event at the H&G, set up to highlight the many great DJ's and music heads that frequent the DISCO NOT DISCO site alongside some surprising headliners out to further the cause, so come along and support what should be an amazing night of electronic experiments, cosmic oddities and out-n-out shameless stompers.
And the good vibes will go all the way through to 4:00am, with FREE entry all night!

Luca Cazal will be guesting with The Disco Outcasts @ The Purple Pussy Cat on Saturday May 30th.
